Injection molding in injection molding plant is a processing method used in mass production of complex parts with specific shapes. In particular, the heated and melted material is injected into the mold cavity from high pressure, and the molded product is obtained after cooling and solidification.
How to adjust the temperature of the injection molding plant?
1. The temperature of injection molding plant, the temperature of injection molding process, nozzle temperature, mold temperature, etc. The first two temperatures mainly affect the plasticization and flow of plastics, and the next temperature mainly affects the flow and cooling of plastics. Each plastic has a different flow temperature. The source or trademark of the same plastic is different, so the flow temperature and decomposition temperature are different. This is because the average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution are different. According to different types of plastic syringes, the plasticization process is also different, and the selection temperature is also different. 2. Nozzle temperature 3360 nozzle temperature is usually slightly lower than the temperature, which is to prevent the "drooling" of molten material in the straight through nozzle. The nozzle temperature should not be too low. Otherwise, the early solidification of melt will lead to nozzle blockage, or early clot will be injected into the mold cavity, affecting the performance of the product. 3. Mold temperature 3360 mold temperature has a great influence on the internal performance and apparent quality of products. The mold temperature depends on whether there is plastic crystallization, product size and structure, performance requirements and other process conditions (melt temperature, injection speed and injection pressure, molding cycle, etc.).
How to control the pressure of injection molding plant?
The pressure in the injection molding process of injection molding plant includes plasticization pressure and injection pressure, which directly affects the plasticization of plastics and product quality.
1. Plasticizing pressure (back pressure) when a screw syringe is used, the pressure on the molten material at the top of the screw when the screw rotates backward is called plasticizing pressure (also known as back pressure). The pressure can be adjusted by the overflow valve of the hydraulic system. The plasticizing pressure during injection shall vary according to the screw design, product quality requirements and plastic type. If this situation and the rotating speed of the screw remain unchanged, increasing the plasticizing pressure will increase the shear action and increase the melt temperature, but the plasticizing efficiency decreases, the countercurrent and outflow increase, and the driving force increases.
In addition, increasing the plasticizing pressure will make the melt temperature uniform, the color tone mixed evenly, and discharge the gas in the melt. In general work, the lower the plasticizing pressure, the better on the premise of good product quality. The specific figures depend on the type of plastic used, but usually rarely exceed 20 kg / cm2.
2. Injection pressure: at present, the injection pressure of almost all injection machines is based on the pressure exerted by the plastic at the top of the piston or screw (converted to Euro pressure). The role of injection pressure in injection molding is to overcome the flow resistance of plastic from flowing to the cavity, provide the speed of filling the melt and compress the melt.
